PCA Skin Symposium at Claridge’s 2025: Education, Innovation & Industry Recognition

November was a standout month at Beauty & Theory as we attended the PCA Skin Symposium at Claridge’s London, an iconic venue and fitting setting.

Claridge’s itself deserves a moment. From its renowned Art Deco elegance to its impeccable service, the hotel provided a luxurious backdrop for a day dedicated to advanced skincare education, innovation, and professional development. You can explore the venue here: www.claridges.co.ukBeing there reminded us why it's one of London's most legendary hotels. It was the perfect setting for such a special event.

The symposium was hosted by PCA Skin (www.pcaskin.com), a globally recognised, science-led skincare brand known for its commitment to professional education and evidence-based treatments. The day was filled with expert-led education talks, where industry leaders from the US and UK shared insights into the latest skincare science, clinical innovation, and professional best practice.

Being surrounded by like-minded skincare professionals, educators, and practitioners reinforced the importance of continuous learning and staying aligned with evidence-based skincare.

As the day moved into evening, the event transitioned into the PCA Skin Awards Night, celebrating excellence across the professional skincare and aesthetics industry. We were incredibly proud when Odessa Turner, Founder and Principle of Beauty & Theory, was awarded Best Brand Initiative. This recognition reflects her ongoing commitment to raising standards within professional beauty and skincare education.

As a BABTAC judge, CIBTAC examiner, and VTCT Higher Level Beauty Associate, Odessa brings credibility, accountability, and depth of knowledge to everything she does. Beauty & Theory was created as a space where professionals can access high-quality, regulated education, develop real confidence, and practise safely and competently. This award is a testament to that mission and the impact it continues to have across the industry.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to Church Pharmacy (www.churchpharmacy.co.uk) for their continued collaboration and support of professional skincare education and industry excellence.

Events like the PCA Skin Symposium at Claridge’s remind us why we love what we do — championing education, innovation, community, and professional recognition.

Here’s to more learning, celebration, and industry growth ahead.
