Our Facialist Pathway is perfect for those who want to get truly hands-on with skincare. You’ll explore the power of touch therapy, gain insight into ingredient knowledge, and build skills needed to safely and effectively deliver effective skincare treatment plans. This pathway equips you with the knowledge in electrical science required to implement modalities of your choice— the may include lymphatic drainage, EMS (electrical muscle stimulation), iontophoresis, and galvanic therapy and many more — enabling you to create personalised, results-driven experiences for your clients.

As you graduate the pathway, you'll be able to offer a range of skincare facials & you’ll have the opportunity to advance to Level 4 training, allowing you to introduce non-surgical modalities and elevate your skincare practice with more advanced solutions should you wish.

Level 2 Facial Skincare Course

A Level 2 in Facial Skincare is designed to equip learners with the skills necessary to enter the beauty industry. Whether you're changing careers this is your first step to gain foundational knowledge of facial skincare.

This qualification provides the essential knowledge and hands-on skills to perform professional step by step facial treatments.

All awarding organisations we work have mapped this qualifications to the National Occupational Standards, ensuring relevance to real industry roles.

Unlike short, accredited courses, this qualification ensures you’re trained to a professional Ofqual regulated standard—giving clients and employers confidence in your ability and preparing you for progression to more advanced qualifications such as level 3, 4,5 & 6.

What you will learn:

Health and Safety in the Salon

Client consultation and treatment planning

Client Care

Professional facial treatment techniques Consultation, Cleanse, Skin Analysis, Exfoliation, Mask, Massage, Tone, Treat, Moistures, SPF, Aftercare.

Facial anatomy and physiology

Industry terminology and salon conduct

How is the course delivered?
The course is taught over 7 training days, combining classroom theory with hands-on practice. The class sizes are no more than 8 in a practical environment. You’ll also have the opportunity to supervised model days, giving you time to refine your technique, build confidence, and experience working in a real salon environment.

What is the final assessment like?
The course includes both theoretical and practical assessments, which are designed to ensure you’re confident in your knowledge and capable in your delivery. All assessments met the requirement of your chosen awarding organisation.

What can I do after this course?
This qualification provides a strong foundation to:

Start working in salons, spas, or wellness settings

Progress onto more advanced skincare and aesthetic courses (e.g. Level 3 and beyond)

Level 3 Access to Aesthetics

Level 3 Access to Aesthetics is a practical and knowledge-based qualification designed to prepare learners for a career in the professional skincare and aesthetics sector. This course provides a strong foundation in facial skincare, skin analysis, and electrical science, helping you build the essential knowledge and hands-on skills needed to progress into advanced skin and aesthetic treatments.

Delivered through face-to-face practical training over 7 days, supported by online theory and guided home study.

Assessments are conducted in line with the awarding body. This qualification is an ideal entry route into advanced skincare and aesthetic practice at Level 4 and beyond.

Who is this course for?

This course is ideal for aspiring skincare professionals who want to work hands on in the treatment room offering skin health objectives. There is no pre requisite for this Level 3 qualification. It’s perfect for those wanting to work in treatment rooms- clinics, salons, medi-spas, or brand environments — or for anyone looking to upskill and future-proof their career in the ever-evolving skin health industry.

What does the course involve?

The course combines core theory with practical experience across skin treatments and essential aesthetic science. It includes:

7 face-to-face onsite training days

8–10 weeks of online learning and guided self-directed study

Practical treatments carried out on models.
