WHY BEAUTY & THEORY WAS CREATED?
Beauty & Theory is a boutique training centre in Leeds delivering regulated qualifications in beauty and advanced skincare.
It wasn’t created because the industry needed more courses. It was created because it needed more depth.
Over the years, I’ve seen too many professionals complete training and still feel unsure when faced with real clients skin journeys. They knew the steps, but not the reasoning. They gained certificates, but not confidence.
I wanted to build a space where education felt steady, structured and credible again. Where qualifications were at the forefront. Where standards weren’t optional. And where small class sizes allowed real development to take place.
That’s why Beauty & Theory is intentionally boutique.
We limit our cohorts. Not because it sounds good, but because it allows proper supervision, real feedback and genuine hands-on experience. It creates space to think, question and refine.
Our educators carry out multi industry roles. We practise within the industry and we teach within regulated frameworks, as well as much more. What we deliver is grounded in real treatment rooms, real clients and recognised standards.
Because theory without practice is incomplete and practice without understanding is risky.
Standards exist for a reason.
We do things with integrity because they protect the practitioner, the client and the integrity of the industry.
This is not about fast-track progression. It’s about building professionals properly.
As Beauty & Theory grows, so does the vision.
We deliver Ofqual-regulated qualifications through Globally recognised CIBTAC and VTCT/iTEC (Levels 2–5). From foundational beauty and holistic wellbeing to advanced skincare aesthetics, teaching and assessing, every qualification we offer is structured and recognised.
But more importantly, it is delivered with intention.
My vision has never been about volume. It’s about depth.
And building practitioners who don’t just qualify but feel capable & confident in their skills.

At BEAUTY & THEORY, our mission is not simply to deliver training, it is to reshape the culture of education within our industry.
For too long, beauty, aesthetics, skincare and holistic practice have operated independently from one another. We are here to bridge those gaps and champion an approach where collaboration replaces competition, and confidence replaces confusion.
That education should be individual, meaningful and grounded in real understanding from treatment protocols and formulation science to consultation depth, client wellbeing and ethical practice.
It is about raising standards.
